In 2004, freelance developer Tim Barsness’s clients brought him more work than he could handle. So he asked fellow developers to join him. And in 2014, the fast-growing company became fjorge.“fjorge” is a mashup between “fjord” that respectfully nods to Tim’s Norwegian heritage and “forge” where diverse elements are melted to create something entirely new.Today, fjorge is a haven for developers on two continents. Together, we’re a passionate culture of learners, teachers, producers, problem-solvers, strategists, and amateur table tennis aficionados. We work in many technologies and are inclusive in everything we do.

Great team, great work, great shop!
We left a project part way through with this company in 2022 and cut our losses. It was clear they did not have the necessary development skills or team depth for an ecommerce site engagement. Their project team was bloated with admin people and thin on qualified folks to execute the IT work. They constantly failed to meet timelines and objectives. Problems snowballed. After leaving, we found more and more issues with their partially completed styling and back-end work that were simply not up to par for a professional firm. The shortfalls became even more obvious once we moved the project and worked with capable professionals. It cost us significantly more time and money than budgeted to finish our build as a result of working with this organization. Don't get Fjorged, go elsewhere. BTW - The Andrew Heller review here is from an employee on their sales team and should be removed.
