To be honest, Lava X gives me a very good opportunity on learning to code in real life and even include interns in their actual project. This does improve your standard on coding and well prepared yourself in your degree studies. Other than that, overall it is a good place for learning and all the colleagues are very friendly and willing to teach. Great Great Experience.

The Pros: Employer is humble and friendly, always open for discussion and does not hesitate to share knowledge. Friendly and tech savvy colleagues, cozy and comfortable working environment. Being an intern here does not feel like a typical company intern that does jobs that no one else likes to do, you get involved in projects, discussions, post-mortems. Therefore you will feel belong, and having good exposure with overseas projects is definitely a plus. The Cons: There are room for improvements in terms of perks and benefits, however all expected necessities are provided. The company is growing, therefore working times can be slightly volatile.

As a student intern with Lava X in 2020, I have learnt so much from my peers and seniors in the company as everyone is very willing to share their knowledge and help each other. Able to pursue self-development/career goals with support from colleagues. From another perspective, I have seen them working with other projects/clients and the way they handle things is very professional. Deliverables are submitted on time and communication is forthcoming. Team members are very talented at what they do and only the best work will be submitted.
