Their original idea was to replace the place that many companies paid for in our paper telephone directories (often used as uncertified child booster seats) with a place on search engines. These search engines (Google, Bing and Yahoo!) began to take more and more space in the information search market, in addition to being capable of providing precise and accurate information at any time. Few people were aware of the extent that Google would take on our lives.
