In 2019 David decided to diversify & change careers from 10+ years in Civil Engineering Consulting to Software & Web Development. In March 2019, David enrolled in the University Accredited Full Stack in Software Development Diploma Course, with Code Institute in Dublin, whilst continuing to work full time as a Consultant Engineer for his clients in Australia & New Zealand
In 2019 David decided to diversify & change careers from 10+ years in Civil Engineering Consulting to Software & Web Development. In March 2019, David enrolled in the University Accredited Full Stack in Software Development Diploma Course, with Code Institute in Dublin, whilst continuing to work full time as a Consultant Engineer for his clients in Australia & New Zealand.In January 2020, upon completing this course, David began an 8 month Internship as a Software Developer with JRI-America in Tralee, where he gained much experience in the Industry. In September 2020, David decided to set up his own Web Development Consultancy, The Web Lab. Since then, he has built websites for various clients, from sporting clubs to charities, professional businesses and individuals.

David created a great site for my new practice, he had great ideas, super professional and is very knowledgeable. Great communication throughout the process and very patient with me when providing content. He was very easygoing and created the site just the way I wanted it. Great value for what he provided. I highly recommend David.
The Web Lab recently undertook work for 4 of our websites and did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always at the other end of the phone or email to answer any queries. The websites turned out great and we are really happy we choose The Web Lab and would highly recommend David.
