Our trip around Iraq was magnificent - much in part due to Aknaf Alsawary Tours and the guide and driver we were set up with. My dad is very much into history, and it can be hard to match his knowledge. Still our guide was well versed in the history and significance of the various empires, sites, and shared so much information with us. Outside Baghdad, we visited Karbala and Najaf, Babylon, Samarra, Ziggurat of Ur, Ctesiphon, and recommend all of them, (Babylon being a personal favorite). In Baghdad, there was plenty to see and keep us busy. Don’t snooze on Baghdad Museum, as it does a great job capturing the millennia of history of the land, with artifacts and timelines, which helped to piece together all that we were seeing in our tour. It had been a while since I left the U.S., but I’ve travelled plenty over the decades, and I’ll say this trip was one of the best. The food is delicious, the people warm and friendly, and the history unmatched. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime 💖

They are a very professional agency. Im Mexican, I traveled alone and I was on a tour with a Spanish-speaking guide (Mohammed, who by the way congratulations), which was a great surprise. The transportation used was of high quality and the attention was personalized. They managed the visit the most representative places in Iraq in record time. I recently organised a private 7-day trip with this agency, visiting Baghdad, Samarra, Babylon, Karbala, Najaf and the Marshes. I dealt with Ahmed, by email, and found him very helpful in the planning stages. On the ground everything was very well organised. My driver, Abdullah, and guide, Leo, were both excellent and fun to travel with. At no stage were there any safety concerns, which makes a complete mockery of the ‘do not travel’ advice suggested by many governments.
