My husband and I had the utmost pleasure of enjoying a perfect private tour led by Mario of Allegra Travel to Plitvice Lake this morning after Viator tour company canceled our tour at the last moment with no notice.
Mario guided us for 2 and 1/2 days. He picked us up at the airport, gave us a city tour, took us to Plitvice NP and to Lake Bled in Slovenia. He was very courteous and professional. It was a really positive experience.
The day trip to Lake Bled / Ljubljana is a fantastic opportunity to visit both sites - you will not be disappointed. We were promptly picked up by Mario, close to our hotel, and whisked off to Lake Bled. He was was very informative and provided clear and concise answers to our questions. We were dropped off at Bled Castle, stayed for 90mins, then walked around Lake Bled. Truly awesome location for a walk/photos. Walked Bled for 20mins and got a coffee at Devils Bar. Promptly picked up and off to Ljubljana, about a 30min drive. Beautiful small capital with great cafes/bars along the river. Went to the Castle and picked up promptly once again by Mario. Price paid was as advertised. Enquired on other sites and quoted a lot more for the same experience.
