Bearded Boy Design was started in 2012 by Nathanael Malone with the hope to replace generic plastic tap handles with beautiful custom-made tap handles for breweries and home-brewers alike. Nathanael cut his teeth working at Creative Wood Working NW in Portland, OR where he quickly picked up the art and technique of professional woodworking. Nathanael “Nate” is always on the lookout for urban salvaged hardwoods to breathe new life into. Nate also has years of design experience under his belt. Whether you need a quick logo, awards for your best employees, or a custom sign for your business Nate is your man.

I’m super impressed with the quality and speed of my new keg tap handles! The back and forth through the design revision process was super easy and they produced exactly what I was looking for! Thank you again for a great product!
Nate helped me out with a special project, and after the experience I would recommend his services to anybody and everybody. He was a great communicator, his shop was cool and he finished my piece super fast. The quality was perfect and he made it look exactly how I wanted. 10/10 would recommend for any custom engravings or wood projects!!
