We used Best Guides for our tour of St. Petersburg. We had a party of 6. Arranging the tour was easy through email, and we did not have to make a payment until the end of the tour. We were met at dockside by a clean and comfortable van. Our guide was Olga and she was wonderful. She not only had so much information about all of our stops, but she also was so interesting when talking about life in Russia today. I would highly recommend Best Guides.

This was the best excursion by far. We booked a 2 day tour in St. Petersburg with Best Guides and Maria was our tour guide. We were promised a very good tour but instead received a fantastic tour going to all the highlights they had to offer. We ate traditional Russian meals at two very nice restaurants which were provided as part of the tour. Our guide was not only very knowledgeable about her country and its history but presented it in such a way and with such enthusiasm that I could not help but become interested in what was next. Her English was very good and no problem understanding her. There is much walking involved so the two days are very exhausting. Bus was on time and tried to save us a few steps. Did not have to wait in lines even though at times they were long we went in other doors. Maria listened to our questions and answered them without hesitation. When asked if there was a little time left could we see possibly see the famous subway stations. With great enthusiasm this was organized and we got to see two station a short trip on the subway. This was appreciated by the group. What a great experience. Thank You Maria for that. My husband was very apprehensive about doing a private tour not affiliated with the cruise ship, but he was shown what a great number of others found out Best Guides are true to their word in providing a truly great experience. The groups being only 14 in number made it easy to get around the city and into events. Tourist visa were arranged by the company and no problems were encountered. Thank You for the great Memories

I can congratulate best guides on their professional and efficient service and guided tours. We were an art group coming in from South Africa and our guide was at the airport to greet us. She was so friendly and kind. She also took us on the city tour and a tour of the Hermitage Museum. The driver of the bus was such a gentleman and helped us out the bus every time and made us feel like royalty. We had another guide to take us to Catherine’s palace and she was also so insightful and friendly. They also organized a Troika ride for us. I would definitely recommend them if you are visiting st Petersburg.
