Introducing Big Bus Tours. A family-run company, siblings Richard, Eleanor and Desmond Maybury thought they would try their hand at guided city tours. They had the philosophy to 'think global and act local', a focus that still drives us to this day (excuse the pun).  Today, Big Bus Tours is owned by private equity partnership Exponent LLC after a welcomed sale in 2015.

Review Summary

The hop-on, hop-off Big Bus Tour is an excellent activity for any tourist in Philadelphia. The route is a loop with around 20 different stops with pick ups every 20 minutes on the day we went. There is a tour guide to provide information along the route. Sit on the top deck for great views and photo opportunities, and hop off whenever you want to explore something new. Loved it!

Review Summary

Probably not the most informative tour as far as the amount of history info given but still very good and by far the most entertaining! It’s technically a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour but once we got on with tour guide Matt we didn’t want to get off and so stayed on listening to him for the rest of the route! He was hilarious, super nice and friendly and when I talked to him after the tour he even gave us some good restaurants to try! I wish it had been like 3 hours and so a little more in depth but it was still well worth the money!

Review Summary

I had a great time. Dom is a skilled driver. Bayyyybay. He knows he can drive. The duo was awesome. There was a woman driver who was a great driver. The busses were clean and everyone was friendly and fun. Luv the fact you visit si many great sites and learn fun facts and history. It's worth the ticket (which is reasonable). It's definitely something you should try when you visit.
