Great down to earth but enthusiastic people
Boost are not only extremely good at what they do, they are very clear why they do it - they are here to make a difference and I think they do. Principled, values driven, and caring. They are totally awesome to work with.
Their interview process is such a waste of time. The first round takes 2 hours and you don't get much chance to ask questions. In this 2 hours, there's nothing technical; only agile exercises and a decision making exercise. Well you got to understand you are only a small company and you can never become McKinsey. They have around 15 employees attended in this 2 hours as well; I'm really concerned whether or not their employees are paid for this extra 2 hours. And they have a second round which takes a whole day; you only get to know this at the end of the first round. Also, from the interview it seems like a direct sales company rather than a software company; so they don't have much to show to you and they keep saying they are great. So overally a big question mark for this company.
