Containment Service Providers (CSP) was founded in 2003 by Tony O' Connell, our Managing Director. CSP began as a two-person company and a family business then based in Dunderrow Kinsale, Co. Cork. CSP started out as a containment consulting and design company for the pharmaceutical industry. The family connections are Tony O' Connell and Eileen O'Connell, Company Directors. Kevin O'Connell, Director of Sales and Business Development. Christine O'Connell, Director of Finance and Human Resources. Colm O'Connell, Director of Quality.   ​  Containment Service Providers made their first significant relocation to Little Island, Co. Cork, in August 2011, employing 15 people. At this stage in the journey, CSP switched from subcontracting to manufacturing its own products. CSP's business continued to increase in size, so we relocated to a newly rebuilt manufacturing site in Carrigtwohill in June 2015, which is now CSP's headquarters. At this point, CSP employed 50 people, and its principal line of business was flexible isolation. We soon outgrew Carrigtwohill and in 2020 we established a second production facility in neighbouring Little Island Co. Cork. The new facility gives us the ability to quadruple our manufacturing capacity. This facility is dedicated to single use flexible products e.g., Bottle Bags, high end containment FIBC's, Tyvek Bags, single use RTP Bags and single use RTP Continuous Liners, just to name a few.      As an add on to the above we have also set up a powder re-dispensing/ re- packaging facility in Little Island, giving us the ability to re-packing quantities of powder for our customers.   ​  Due to the rapid growth of the company, CSP opened its newest office in Brussels early in 2023. Members of our sales team are based at our Brussels office, the plan here is to support our European sales partners. Following that, CSP have seven global partners providing us with a global footprint.  ​  In April 2023, we celebrated our 20th anniversary. This has been made possible by our loyal customers' ongoing support and the passion of our employees.
