Prior to launching DAM Ltd, David had a long career as a national newspaper editor/reporter (1988-2004). David was International Editor and Columnist for the Daily and Sunday Express from 1994-2004. He also worked across a range of national newspapers and magazines, including The Sunday Times, The Irish Times and the Sunday Independent.

In addition, David was a Conde Naste global magazine columnist for many years and a senior writer/editor at World Entertainment News Network (WENN). Along with his film and television production work, David is a well known commentator on social and current affairs and has published many papers and essays for online and print publications.
