I 100% recommend this tour! I chose this tour because it had very high ratings and because of the duration. 2 he is perfect amount of time. We only had one day to see as much as possible of the Old City in Philly and this tour accomplished that! While the tour does not go into the various historic buildings, it goes by them and our tour guide Greg Fender did an amazing job discussing the history mixed with a flare of humor! I think we lucked out getting Greg as our guide. His passion for history is evident but his communication skills and ability to keep all engaged for ~2 hours was awesome. My 10 -year old daughter was even captivated the whole time and said it only felt like the tour was 30 minutes because she had so much fun!
This is terrific tour for getting a general overview of the constitutional happenings and events leading up to the revolution in the area. Greg was not only funny and engaging, but really knowledgeable and made the places relevant for all ages. He did a great job of interacting with the youngest in our group, visitors from other countries, as well as my two teens. 90 minutes is the perfect amount of time (I previously thought it might be too short but was wrong) and it was a great mix of waking and places to stop and talk (and sit).
We took a tour with Seamus on 6/18/24 and it was nothing short of awesome. We had two adults, a 14 year old 9, 8 and 6 year old in our party. The 90 minute tour and 3 block radius was perfect for our group of all ages and everyone was able to handle the walking just fine. There are many stops which allow breaks for little feet. Seamus was super knowledgeable, personable and funny. The tour was everything we had hoped for. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you, Seamus and Founding Footsteps!!
