I started this because of something I never imagined. My wife and I moved here because it’s simply theonly place I’ve ever considered moving to. The mountains. They are just awe inspiring. I’m a freelance artist. As such I had to do some other work when artist work wasn’t available. Uber and Lyft provided an opportunity. What I found was I loved providing tourists with information to enjoy the city, and its surroundings. I also took family and friends that came to visit to see the sights. I enjoyed showing them and they enjoyed being shown. Voilà…Mountain Jeep LLC was born. Why Jeeps? Mainly because they go where I want them to go. Bad weather? No problem. Mountain trails? No problem. However, in good weather, I can let the top down for a full open air experience. And they look cool. In the summer of 2022, I added Susanne as a guide. I was filled with anxiety over hiring an employee to represent my business, but she has become a trusted employee and is a fantastic tour guide and enjoys this as much as me! This is just a great place to visit, and we enjoy taking people to those places that inspire awe. We also enjoy giving local business that we enjoy a reference….We support all aspects of our community. There is much to be offered. We hope you enjoy your stay at Colorado Springs.

Views were incredible and so was James as a guide! James told us about the history of Pike’s Peak and made us feel safe and comfortable the whole trip. He even gave us incredible food recommendations after in Old Colorado City (Yellow Mountain Tea House for lunch and Mountain Shadows Restaurant for brunch).
We had a great experience! Beautiful views, felt super safe, plenty of time to enjoy the ride, and our tour guide / driver James was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and provided so much information along the ride, plus he also gave some great food recommendations! I am so glad we went this route instead of driving ourselves so that my husband could enjoy the views on the drive up, instead of having to focus on driving. Highly recommend!
Absolute blast!!! Seriously, I am so excited that I booked this tour. From the very start of just simply booking, the customer service was top notch. James was there to answer any and every question needed. The tour itself was magical! We lucked out and had a park ranger as our tour guy (I cannot recall her name and it kills me). She was so knowledgeable and made me feel safe while driving to Devils Playground. A lot of people drive up themselves but it’s so much better having a tour guide. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will be booking with James again when I go back.
