I need help these days and find students wonderful to help out. Usually gardening, where I have had several who have stayed with me for years - Tobias, Heather, Sam, and Melissa. If wet, they turn their hands to other tasks. They are flexible and it is great to have a young brain to keep me a bit more up-to-date!

I have hired many students over the years at busy times. SJS has made it incredibly easy to get pleasant willing workers. Some have returned in subsequent holidays. I have found students to be the perfect talent pool. Not surprisingly, if they don’t already know they are willing to learn.

Sadly, after many years of great service from SJS it has recently deteriorated to where we will no longer use them. I suggest beaurocracy has got in the way of service. SJS is now a combersome service. Students accept jobs and then do not turn up. Too poor to continue with them.
