We had an amazing trip that was put together by Unikorn Tours! Even after being to Amsterdam multiple times before, they were able to put together a trip that got me to see a lot of the city and surrounding area that I hadn’t experienced before. It was also planned well for both myself, who had been there before and my friend who was experiencing Europe for the first time. The apartment that they recommended was great, it had a local cafe, good walking distance to everything in and around centrum, and was the perfect place to celebrate Kings Day. Unikorn Tours was great at helping us continue our trip as well. They were a great resource to helping us plan our extended trip to Rome and Venice too. I have always wanted to go back to Europe, having studied there for a year in college. Part of me felt I should know what to do and how to plan it since I went to school there for a year. But at age twenty....a Eurail pass, list of Youth Hostels and a few "street smart" friends comprised all the basics needed in having the trip of a lifetime. Decades later, at age 50ish, I wanted to return to some of my favorite European destinations but knew going on a big group tour wasn’t a fit for me. I also knew attempting to plan the trip on my own risked missing out on some of the "inside info" best known by destination locals. I was also overwhelmed by all the options when I went online. I was fortunate to have heard of a company called Unikorn Tours, which at the time, was just starting out. My pause in working with a relatively young company immediately disappeared after my very first interaction with Lee Kear, owner of Unikorn Tours. I was so blown away, in such a positive manner, with the service I received from her and her staff. Whether our communication was over email, phone call or in person, all of my requests/concerns/ideas etc. were addressed thoroughly and professionally. Lee was so patient, making changes to the evolving itinerary, until it was exactly what I wanted. They made it the perfect trip for me and I highly recommend them without hesitation. Lee's knowledge base of the Netherlands, especially Amsterdam is without comparison. Her passion for travel is infectious and I have additionally used her as a consultant on trips to Italy, France and the United Kingdom. I consider her and Unikorn Tours an asset for any destinations in Western Europe.
