I have a really good time watching the Saturday volleyball tournaments at Vegas United! They have made so many improvements... enjoy the concession bar! They do a great job keeping the tournaments on track and organized.
We moved here in 2016 from Orlando, FL and heard so much about the club. My daughter felt right at home with Vegas United and not just a number. The coaches, parents and the teams are friendly, caring, loving, and easy to get along with. The meaning of Family! Is definitely what you feel here. They hold local tournaments here, and give players and there families a chance to learn rules and regulations on volleyball. They also give players an opportunity to work with colleges coachs, learn more about recruiting, and what the players need to take it to the next level. Can't wait for club season again...Lets Go Vegas United!! #weareunited #family
My daughter plays volleyball for this club. I also worked the weekend tournaments for the club when my daughter isn't traveling with her team to Anaheim. I may have been the one you paid your $3 to and cleaned up after the tournament is over. My daughter plays for a national travel team. You see in Anaheim the facility is more cramped. You are lucky to get a spot on the small bleachers they have set up to sit on. There are hundreds of girls playing and their families watching at any given time. Their bathrooms are beyond over capacity. But I am there to watch my daughter and support her team. It is not air conditioned at all. I believe this season the average temperature inside the facility was 80+ degrees. Anaheim is a pretty consistent 1000% humidity all the time. It gets miserable. Again, I am there to watch my daughter and support her team. I pay my dues to the SCVA as well (plus travel fees). To walk in the door at the Anaheim tournaments it is $30.00. Yes that is THIRTY dollars to park across a major street, walk to the facility, and then pay your entrance fee. All totaling $30.00. AGAIN, I am there to watch my daughter and support her team. There is parking behind the Vegas United building in a parking lot with plenty of room and you simply walk down a sidewalk to get into the facility. You certainly do not have to cross a major thoroughfare to get to the main entrance (as in Anaheim). Maybe parents should be grateful there are facilities to host these tournaments or there may not be a Las Vegas league at all. You would all then have to travel to Anaheim and really experience some inconvenience. I would never post on the Anaheim facility's Google page complaining about trivial things when my purpose in putting my daughter in volleyball was to watch her grow and play, and support her and her team. The Vegas United facility is more than adequate to host the Las Vegas tournaments and is a great place for my daughter to advance her skills as a player. We love it here.
