It was chill, fun and personalised thanks to Nina a very proud local! The tour made me love Philly even more. I was super happy with the yummy pretzel (which Nina kindly and thoughtfully pre-purchased for the start of the tour), amazing corndog (turkey) & curd cheese from Reading Market as well as the delicious tahini milk shake :D I loved our mini stops along the way as well. It was so kind of Nina to do the tour despite nit having a group. Very special - thank you!
We took the WeVenture South Philly Art Tour with Chuck and had a great and informative afternoon! My husband and I are frequently in the city, but we knew very little about the art scene. Very interesting to learn about Isaiah Zagar’s mosaics throughout South Philly and as a bonus, we got to speak with Zagar’s son as he walked out of one of the houses! We visited a few cool galleries and a small museum as well, and then ended with full admission to Zagar’s Magic Gardens. Chuck was friendly and full of knowledge, and the gallery owners were also engaging. Would recommend!
About a week or two ago, I joined a historical tour of Philadelphia. My tour guide John was exceptional. His knowledge and enthusiasm made for a great learning experience. He was professional but personable, always made sure the group was together and asked if we had any questions. I really enjoyed learning about the Quakers. If you have time, I highly recommend this tour for history lovers or anyone who wants to learn more about the early days of America in Philly. Ask for John. I can’t wait to go back and explore Philly more.
